Direct Primary Care (DPC) as an Employee Benefit
As a small business owner, you undoubtedly prioritize the well-being of your employees, but the cost of traditional health insurance may present a challenge. Fortunately, Direct Primary Care (DPC) offers a viable solution that can benefit both you and your employees.
Employers who provide coverage have the option to pair DPC with various insurance arrangements, such as high deductible plans, self-insured plans, or health-sharing plans. This pairing can lead to significant cost savings while still offering comprehensive healthcare benefits.
Some employers may also opt to provide memberships for their employees as a stand alone benefit if they are not able to afford additional coverage and are not mandated by law to provide health insurance.
DPC enables your employees to access personalized and timely care, ensuring they receive the attention they need without the financial burden of traditional insurance. With telemedicine services, they can conveniently receive treatment for many health conditions without having to miss work for appointments or leave home when they're ill.
By offering DPC as a healthcare option, you not only demonstrate your commitment to employee health but also provide a valuable benefit that can enhance their overall well-being. If you're interested in exploring options for a self-insured plan, I can provide recommendations for a qualified broker to assist you further. Let me know if you'd like more information!
